Live Wedding Painting
What is a live wedding painting?
A live wedding painting is an extraordinary and artistic way to capture your wedding day! Imagine having a talented artist right there at your celebration, painting the magic on canvas as it happens. Live wedding painters charge between $1500 - $10,000 nationwide, depending on the size, travel, and the specific artist. It's not just a painting— it is a dynamic work of art created in real-time, turning your special moments into a masterpiece you’ll treasure forever.

Wedding planning and decision-making can be overwhelming, so Beth's details below will help streamline the process!
Step 1:
Calendar Availability
This is the first step! Checking my availability will save you time and help you determine if I’m the right fit for your special day. The best way to do this is by filling out the form below, and I’ll get back to you promptly. If I’m already booked, we can still create a commissioned piece—details are provided below!
Step 2:
First Zoom Meeting
I love getting to know you and discussing and brainstorming your vision for the painting. I am excited to explore different styles with you—whether it's realistic, whimsical, impressionistic, etc. I will walk you through all your options, including incorporating special guests or pets, selecting the background, choosing the size, and deciding on the perfect pose! I am here to help you through the entire process!
Step 3:
Pricing & Contract
Once we’ve discussed your preferences and I have a clear understanding of what you want, I’ll send you a custom contract outlining all the details for your wedding painting. To officially book your event, I’ll need a 50% deposit and the signed contract. The final payment is due on the day of the wedding, once I’ve arrived to start painting. My prices for winter 2025 begin at $2400, but they do increase each season to ensure the value of your investment is protected. (Basic pricing details are provided below.)
Step 4:
Review Zoom Meet
I also love to have a follow-up meeting to review all the details, in case any changes have been made to the pose, colors, or background. I like to do this about a month before the big day! If applicable/possible, I recommend including the wedding coordinator in this meeting to ensure I have a 4 x 6’ area set aside for painting at both the wedding and the reception. After this meeting, we’re all set, and just counting down the days!
Step 5:
On-The-Spot Creation
I like to arrive about 3 hours before the ceremony to set up my easel and painting supplies and start working on the background. This gives me ample time to complete your painting and interact with guests as they arrive. Some couples like to have special guests add scripture, well wishes, or signatures to the painting, which I photograph before painting over it to preserve these heartfelt messages as the foundation of the artwork.
Depending on your background and pose, I’ll take a photograph to continue working at the reception. I’ll relocate my setup there and just need an electrical outlet for my light. The total time spent is usually 6-7 hours. I aim to finish the painting on-site and leave it on display. However, if needed, I’m happy to take it back to my studio for any touch-ups or framing.
If, for any reason, your venue doesn’t allow for the 3 hours before the ceremony to set up and start, I can still work with the available time. However, more details might be added afterward at my studio to ensure everything is perfect!
Basic Pricing and Options
Various sizes and options can influence the final price of the artwork. After we discuss your ideas and preferences, you’ll receive a customized quote for your unique masterpiece.
Please note that tax will be added to your total based on your state’s specific tax rate.
I love painting on wooden panels with a gallery-wrapped edge, so framing isn't necessary for the wedding day. It can be added later if desired. Framing is an additional cost, depending on style and preference, but I’m happy to assist you with this before or after the ceremony.
I use high-quality acrylic paints to ensure your painting lasts beautifully and is dry, allowing it to be handled and enjoyed on the day or night of your event.
Travel outside a 2-hour radius of Spring Hill, TN will incur an additional fee, which will be determined based on distance and any required accommodations.
