Spring is here...

...and with it comes an inspiring wave of new creation and life. Thank You, God!
Winter was hard—not because of any one thing, but this year, it felt especially heavy. The world feels heavy. But maybe that just means I need to put it down—to surrender.
Surrender is such a misunderstood word. We’ve come to believe it means defeat, loss, or the end of our way of life. And while there’s some truth in that, surrendering to Christ is something entirely different. Laying it all at His feet isn’t an ending—it’s a beginning. One filled with hope, life, and peace.
This winter was a season of surrender for me. I let go of performance-based lies, truly received the truth that I have nothing to prove, and realized that I had been standing in my own way. It was humbling—but beautiful.
No season is without its challenges. But I am hopeful—for each new day, each new season, and a deeper, closer relationship with Christ through it all.
And now, as spring unfolds, I can feel new life stirring—not just in the world around me, but in my own heart. Creativity is returning, joy is bubbling up, and I sense God inviting me into something fresh and full of possibility. Surrender wasn’t an end; it was making room for what’s next.
